Terms of service

Effective October 23, 2026

These terms cover lasttap.co and the work we do for you. By requesting a teardown, paying for a service or approving our access to your store, you agree to them. Questions: hello@lasttap.co.

The short version

  • Prices are flat and shown on our site in US dollars.
  • We only change your store after you approve each change.
  • We work hard to raise your conversion rate, but we can't promise a specific result.
  • Once you've paid for them, the fixes we build for your store are yours.

Who we are

lasttap helps home decor brands on Shopify get more sales from the ad traffic they already pay for. "We" and "us" mean lasttap. "You" means the business that requests or buys our services, and the person acting for it.

Our services

  • Free teardown: a short video showing leaks we can see from outside your store. It's free, with no obligation.
  • The lasttap Audit: we review your Shopify and Meta data, rank leaks by what they cost you, and walk you through a written plan on a 30-minute call. Your audit is ready 3–5 business days after you give us access.
  • Fix Sprint and Mini Sprint: we build your top fixes, 5 for a Fix Sprint and 3 for a Mini Sprint, and report what each one changed.
  • Single fix: one small, defined fix. Bigger fixes get a flat quote before we start.
  • Leak Watch: a monthly check of your numbers, billed monthly until you cancel.

The scope of each service is what's described on our site, plus anything we agree with you in writing by email.

Payment

  • Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • The audit and single fixes are paid up front.
  • Fix Sprints and Mini Sprints are paid half up front, which reserves your slot, and half on delivery. We send the final invoice on delivery, and it's due within 7 days of delivery.
  • Leak Watch is billed monthly in advance until you cancel.
  • Audit credit: your $500 audit payment is credited in full toward a Fix Sprint booked within 7 days of your audit walkthrough, and it comes off your final invoice. It doesn't apply to a Mini Sprint, a single fix or Leak Watch, and it can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Leak Watch offer: when our site says a Fix Sprint includes a free first month of Leak Watch, it applies only to Fix Sprints that start by the deadline shown there. That month starts when your Sprint is delivered. It doesn't renew automatically: near the end of it, we'll ask whether you'd like to continue at the regular price.

What we need from you

To do the work, we need access to your Meta ad account (view performance only) and your pixel (dataset) data, and collaborator access to your Shopify store, limited to the permissions the work needs: reporting and product data for an audit, plus theme editing for a Sprint or fix, so we can build on a copy of your theme. We also need prompt answers to our questions, and your approval of each change. Timelines start once we have access. If access or approvals are delayed, our timelines move by the same amount. If a Sprint is waiting on you for more than 30 days, we may end it, as described in "Ending the work" below.

Changes to your store

We build every fix on a copy of your theme. Nothing goes live until you approve it. You remain responsible for your store, your products, your ads and the claims you make to your customers.

Results

We base our work on your own data and on published research, and we measure the result. But sales depend on things we don't control, such as your ads, prices, stock, seasonality and competitors. So we don't guarantee any specific increase in conversion rate, revenue or return on ad spend. Numbers on our site and in our reports are estimates and benchmarks, not promises.

Ownership

Once you've paid for them, the code, copy and design changes we build for your store belong to you, along with your written plan and reports. We keep ownership of our own methods, checklists, templates and tools, and we may reuse general know-how. We won't share your store's data or results with anyone without your permission.

Confidentiality and access

We treat your store, ad and customer data as confidential. We use it only to do your work, as our privacy policy describes. You can remove our access at any time. If you remove it before a project is finished, we'll deliver what we can with the access we had. What you've already paid follows our refund policy, and any unpaid balance is due only for work we've done.

Other platforms

Our work runs on platforms we don't control, including Shopify, Meta, Stripe and your apps and theme. We aren't responsible for their outages or policy changes. If a platform update breaks one of our fixes within 30 days after we deliver it, we'll repair it at no charge. After those 30 days, repairs are quoted separately.

Ending the work

You can cancel Leak Watch at any time. It stops at the end of your current billing month. Either of us can end a project by email. If you end it, refunds follow our refund policy. If we end it, including after a 30-day stall, you pay only for the work done so far, and we refund the rest of what you've paid. For Sprints, work done is counted per completed fix: one fifth of the Fix Sprint price, or one third of the Mini Sprint price, per fix. The audit included with a Fix Sprint isn't charged separately.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about our services is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. If we ever disagree, we'll first try to resolve it by talking it through.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. Changes don't affect work you've already paid for.
